open-source support

Independent, non-commercial Rust projects and nonprofit maintainers can apply for sponsored beta access.

eligible projects

Single-maintainer projects, volunteer groups and nonprofit-led projects with public source, an open-source licence and an active Rust workload.

You do not need to be an incorporated charity. Small donations or community sponsorship do not automatically disqualify you; describe how the project is funded.

commercial projects

Projects owned, controlled or substantially funded by a commercial company use the team offer. Publishing source does not by itself qualify a company's CI for sponsorship.

If ownership or funding is mixed, describe it in your application so we can assess eligibility.

apply for sponsored access

Tell us who maintains the project, how it is funded and which Rust job needs compute. Accepted projects get a written allowance, duration and concurrency limit.

We may propose a public benchmark or case study. Publication, attribution and any use of your project's identity are agreed separately. Measurement does not imply endorsement.

include in your application

  • Public repository and open-source licence.
  • Your role and the project's ownership.
  • Funding, sponsorship and commercial relationships.
  • The check, build or test you'd like to run.
  • Approximate run frequency and current CI setup.

Access depends on workload support and available capacity. Each sponsorship has a specified allowance and end date.
